Challenge 200
Birders have many lists and I am no different. I am however a wife, mother of three, homeowner and part time teacher so my birding has to be Clever. It has to fit in into family life. It has to be squeezed into the school run, the trip to watch a netball match, keeping a garden under control, a household fed and organised, oh yes and a job. But birds are part of my life, they make up my life and have done since I was a child. But it's time for me to bring them to the fore and relay how birds enhance all aspects of this very normal, very hectic and sometimes mad life that our family leads. For several years now I've tried to do more birding so this year I've set a challenge to see 200 species before a major birthday looms. Can I do it? Well it's taken me nearly two months to sort out a blog.....but I'm heading in the right direction with 114 species on the list since my year began back in September on my birthday.
